Adaptable, Not Adapted: Steve Myrland

Steve Myrland is a movement-focused human performance teacher and coach for all ages and abilities. He began his coaching at the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 1988 as “Strength & Conditioning Coach” and continues to work with coaches and athletes in multiple sports at all levels, from youth to professional, as well as assisting with Physical Education and adult health and wellness efforts. Steve’s association with Vern Gambetta and GAIN (Gambetta Athletic Improvement Network) has provided Steve the chance to collaborate with many of the world’s leading experts in all facets of human performance and was, in fact, instrumental in Steve meeting Frank Forencich as both acknowledge Vern as one of their primary mentors in human movement and performance. Steve lives and works in Middleton, Wisconsin, creating both movement ideas and innovative training equipment. He regularly presents his thoughts and practices to audiences in the US and Europe.
